Start low. Go slow.
Edibles don’t hit right away — and that’s where people get wrecked. The most common mistake is taking more because “nothing’s happening yet.” If you’re new (or it’s been a while), take a small dose and wait before you add more. Give it time to actually show up. Because when you take too much edible, it’s not a cute little oops.
It can turn into:
anxiety or the spins
nausea
feeling way too high for way too long
couch-locked in the worst way
and that “why did I do this” regret
And the annoying part? You can’t just shut it off. Edibles can hang around and keep climbing when you least want them to. You can always take more later.
You can’t un-eat the gummy.
