The curiosity and sales of infused joints have been prominent over the last few years, and as the legal market progresses, there are more options than ever before. Infused pre-rolls are for the seasoned smoker and those looking to elevate their session. There is a wide range of concentrate extracts to choose from when adding to your joints. If you’re looking for premium, pre-made infused joints, Pure Sunfarms new 2g Ultra Orange Hash Hole is a must-try.

Once you’ve chosen which concentrate you’d like to add to your joint, it’s as easy as breaking off or scooping up a small amount (if you’re just starting out, try an amount about the size of an eraser head). After placing your ground flower onto your paper, add the concentrate near the end of the joint, but not too close to where the flame will first touch when lighting it. Think of leaving about a pencil-width space as your “joint seam allowance.” I find that placing the concentrate in this spot helps the joint burn more evenly, while allowing the product to melt and disperse throughout the joint as you smoke.  A tip for a successful burn is to get the tip cherry-red-hot and take a few mindful tokes to ensure the burn is even all the way around. This helps prevent canoeing or running in a joint you’ve just rolled so carefully. Additionally, if your concentrate has a higher moisture content (such as liquid diamonds, resin, or rosin), it can be helpful to hold the joint more vertically while smoking to accommodate any dripping. Slowly rotating the joint as you smoke also helps the concentrate intermingle with the flower, and you may notice your session lasting a bit longer. I hope these tips are helpful for your next session. Happy infusing!
