In the spring of 2021, Flight Cannabis opened its doors in the Harewood Community of southern Nanaimo.
Bringing Flight Cannabis’ strong pursuit of cannabis knowledge and engaging consultants, our Nanaimo location is raising the cannabis retail experience to new highs.

Adam Hartwell
Adam’s first experience with cannabis wasn’t until age twenty four, as he spent most of his adolescence with his head in the books pushing for a future in medicine. When Adam returned from a hiatus of travelling for two years, he had a renewed passion for health, which included modalities outside of the standard western health care system. He dove into subjects like nutrition, yoga, sensory deprivation, and therapeutic herbal medicine. This coincided with his first job in the cannabis industry at a local LP in British Columbia. After cloning, growing, and trimming for six months, he made a move into the retail market as a cannabis consultant and have enjoyed working in sales and management for the cannabis industry since 2015.

Kate
Kate is a born and raised Vancouver Islander who has worked with Flight Cannabis for the past 2 years. She brings a wealth of knowledge about mindfulness and somatic practices due to her on going 10+ year career as a yoga instructor. Aside from knowing all of the Island’s greatest hiking spots, and excitedly learning more about sustainable back yard food agriculture , Kate is also passionate about all the incredible local cannabis options that our island has to offer.

Dave
Dave has called BC home for 20+ years and has enjoyed life on the island for the last year of that. Dave spent some years in the gaming industry before finding a new level of joy in the budding BC cannabis industry.
When Dave isn’t staying up to date on all of the great new cannabis products available, you’re likely to find him exploring one of Nanaimo’s many amazing trails and beaches.

Jake
Jake has been involved with the medical cannabis community for over 10 years and been apart of the recreational market since 2019. Having recently moved to the island, most of his free time is spent exploring new hiking trails and enjoying music and cannabis amongst friends.

Daphne
Daphne grew up on Vancouver Island and has a passion for her home and all the great local goodies there are to indulge in. She believes in buying local whenever she can, which translates into her love of amazing, locally grown Vancouver Island cannabis flower. Daphne has a passion for the community and has been volunteering and working with local artists, not for profits, and different community groups for close to her whole life.

Jordan
Born in Montréal, Jordan moved to Vancouver Island for a change of pace from big city life. With it’s beautiful landscapes and fantastic cannabis, BC seemed like the perfect spot to be. While not at work he spends his time getting into new hobbies and seeing what his new home has to offer.
